The NXT Championship is a professional wrestling championship owned and primarily contested in WWE's developmental promotion, NXT. The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants execute scripted finishes, and is viewed as NXT's top championship. The title is currently held by Trick Williams who is in his first reign as champion.
