Randy Orton and Roman Reigns were two professional wrestler currently signed to WWE. The duo were once part of The Authority together but never had a 2-on-2 tag team match together. They would form, win and lose the WWE Tag Team Championship in just 24 days, holding it for just 14 days, a joint-record for shortest reign. The would then both join the revived faction The Empire of Pain alongside James Harrison and Reigns' former Shield brother Dean Ambrose. Reigns has gone on to win the Tag title again with Ambrose as part of The Empire of Pain, but The Usos who are champions under the freebird rule, defend the titles as Reigns is now WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Orton won the Money in the Bank contract from Sheamus at Battleground, he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam after help from Reigns but he vacated it in November 2015 through injury.
The team unoffically broke up after Orton went on hiatus through injury in November 2015 and since his return in July 2016 they have not teamed up again.
